Achieving Impossible Goals Masterclass Replays

The 1st Tuesday of each month with Certified Master Lifecoach Mel Savage!

1st June 2021

Coaching problems that were answered:

1.My constant procrastination - putting things off tomorrow that can be done today. I also need to get better at organising, breaking things down and executing - I can do it at work but find it harder in my private life. I also get excited in my investment strategy journey and try to skip the logical flow of tasks so start looking for properties....see one I like before completing all the necessary steps and analysis before hand.

2. My energy levels have really gone down in last couple of weeks and finding it hard to make decisions.

3. I have completed a few property-related training courses. However, I am still not confident enough to assess a deal whether is a good deal or not. I am struggling to make a decision and always sitting on the fence. Fear of making mistake.

Coaching problems that were answered:

1.Deciding what is the best path / strategy to achieve my goals. I have a SSAS Pension and want to achieve £3k+ per month for my retirement in 3 years time (2024). My goal is to live 3-6 months per year in Portugal where I am currently building a holiday home in the Algarve.

2.Confidence! Confidence that the market is realistic as to me it looks like its priced too high and I'm expecting an adjustment. Confidence that I really know what I'm doing and won't buy the wrong property in the wrong place. Confidence that I can really get the return, rent out the property, afford the mortgage. Knowing when to approach the Estate Agents with my requirements as I don't want to put offers in that appear to be too low, just because I don't trust the market, and I know that I need to build a rapport with them and gain their respect

3.- Using Time Smartly. I have a day job, and occasionally at some point in the day look after a young child. I've recognised I have dedicated time between the hours or 9pm and midnight, however I feel I'm missing out on other time. - Too many goals. Deciding on goals and committing to them. - People/Networking, hesitant if I'm wasting someone's time.

Coaching problems that were answered:

1. I would say I'm not setting myself the right kind of actionable steps. I set goals and break them down into actionable steps, but I'm not sure they're the right ones. I also don't fully believe that I can take the next leap, I keep telling myself I need to do it then become paralysed and let the small stuff put me off.

2. Overwhelm with trying to do too much at any one time, being quite disorganised and easily distracted by the 'shiny penny' and what others are doing.

I want to find my niche in property, what excites me, what do I think I'm good at?

3. Myself. I am easily distracted and find it hard to focus on one particular thing. Sometimes I'm not sure if it's a case that I just don't know what I want and I sometimes wonder why I bother. Lots of reverse psychology too like 'i've got plenty of time.' 'don't rush' etc.
